The following are included in the price of your Yukon adventure trip:
Today we spend some time getting kitted out with all the cold weather clothing and equipment we require for this epic adventure.Â
Then it’s time to be introduced to the sled in our dog sledding 101 time. We will meet the dogs and be allocated our individual teams for the trip.
Over the next few days we will learn the nuances of dog sledding and snow mobiling. We will go out and different tracks and terrains with increasing difficulty as our skill-sets improve.Â
Culminating in two days of driving our dog teams and sleds along the famous Yukon Quest Trail including the Dawson River. Camping out in the Yukon Wilderness is a rare and amazing experience that will live with you forever.
Today we say a final, sad farewell to our dog teams and make our way back to Vancouver. For some it’s time to head back to Australia, for others they choose to stay in Canada and hit the ski slopes.Â
