This is a Papua New Guinea based adventure following Australian Wartime history much like it’s well known cousin The Kokoda Track.
Black Cat Track is more remote, less traveled and still has plenty of wartime artifacts. This is Kokoda 15 years ago.
This 9 day adventure into the Papua New Guinean jungle will lead you through an amazing portion of Australian Military History closely linked to its more known cousin The Kokoda Track.
More remote, more remaining evidence with stories equally as spell binding, this track is Kokoda 15 years ago before the masses of people. The local culture has been preserved in their pristine jungle and amazing lifestyle.
Our team will walk you through the Battle of Wau where the Australian Forces once again stood up to a Japanese onslaught fighting along the old Black Cat Mining Track, before ultimately taking victory and forcing the Japanese out of PNG for the final time in World War 2.
Learn about the birth of the Australian Commando’s where a tradition was instilled that stands strong today in Afghanistan and throughout the world.
Get off the beaten track and enjoy a simply amazing adventure with us.
